We have water! The water is back on and running. A broken pipe was found underneath the high school building. It has been repaired and now we have the boiler, kitchen, and restrooms all working again. I want to thank our maintenance crew, Pat Marmon, Drew Dumont, Shad Andersen, Joel Fuhrman, Francis Cahoon, and Big Creek Plumbing. Additional thanks to Charlo Grocery and Coulter Auto for helping out with restrooms.
Elementary Ski Trip: January 19 is the ski trip for grades 3-5 to Lookout Pass. Sign ups were sent home last week. The bus will start loading at 7:30 or when bus route students arrive. We will try to depart by 7:45 AM. We are usually back home about 6 PM.
HVAC Project: The school is looking at starting work on installation of a new HVAC system this Summer. Using ESSER Money, Impact Aid Funds, and a loan with Glacier Bank the project will update lighting, update air circulation, and install a new heating/cooling system in the elementary as well as the high school buildings. We have contracted with Ameresco to accomplish the project. If all goes well the lighting portion of the project could begin before the end of school this year. The actual HVAC system installation would begin the first week of June after school is out for the Summer.
