School’s Out for Summer! Alice Cooper’s hit song has been blaring in schools across Montana this week. It has been an interesting and challenging school year for many different reasons, every school year is for that matter. At the end of the day we have a lot to be grateful for as the majority of students performed at high levels. Our staff worked hard all year to help students grow academically, emotionally, and physically. I hope everyone has a wonderful Summer!
Sports Physicals: It’s already time to think ahead to next year especially if you are going to participate in sports. All students must have a sports physical in order to play athletics next Fall. HS Sports begin Aug. 11, 2023. As in recent years, St. Luke Community Healthcare will donate $25 from each Well Child Check (with a sports physical) performed in the summer of 2023 to a student’s school athletic association or booster club. Last year, St. Luke performed 376 well child checks with sports physicals for local athletes and donated $9,400 to local schools districts in 2022. Appointments for well child checks can be made by calling any of our community clinics listed below. School Board Meeting: The regular monthly school board meeting is every third Tuesday of the month at 7 PM in the library except for June, July, August which begin at 8 PM. Agendas are posted no later than Friday before the meeting at the school, the Charlo Post Office, and the Dixon Post Office. Board packets are available upon request.
